The Mix knob, seemingly an EQ mix, controls the amount of tube emulation out of the EQ. They also sound fabulous on mix busses, where you want clarity or low-end thickness. It makes the vocals sound much cleaner and brighter in almost every case, with no harshness whatsoever. If you have recorded some vocals, but they sound somewhat dull, try adding this EQ and boosting the high frequencies upwards of 8 kHz.
